A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Glad you asked.

Simple answers before
your next great connection.

Is QRbuddy really free?

Yes. Create and download as many static QR codes as you need, including high-resolution files and codes with your own logo. No account, subscription or payment is required.

Will my QR code expire?

The code itself never expires. Its content is embedded directly in the image, with no QR redirect service involved. Website codes keep working as long as the destination remains available.

What happens to my data and logo?

Your QR code and logo are processed locally in your browser. We do not send your entered content or images to a server, store your designs, or add analytics or tracking cookies. The hosting provider still receives ordinary website requests and may keep access logs. Anyone with your QR image can scan its contents, so share sensitive codes, such as Wi-Fi passwords, carefully.

Can I edit a code after I download it?

These are static codes, so their content cannot be changed after export. To change the content, create a new code and replace the old image. You can still update a webpage that an existing website code points to.

How do I make sure my code scans well?

Keep the code dark on a light background, preserve its clear border, and use a small logo. QRbuddy checks the finished image with a local decoder, but screen and print conditions vary. Always test the final size with a phone before sharing or printing.

Which download format should I choose?

PNG is best for sharp edges, digital use and printing. JPG is useful when a service specifically asks for it. Choose 2048 × 2048 for the highest resolution, and avoid cropping away the clear border. Some scanners and phones handle Wi-Fi, contact and calendar actions differently.
